Our vision is to be a foremost humanitarian national NGO that protects and preserves the rights and dignity of crisis affected people, while leaving no one behind in saving lives.
Our mission is to seek improvements in the livelihoods and deliver durable solutions to individuals and communities ravaged by humanitarian conflicts
Our goal is to contribute to improvement in the lives of mothers and children worldwide, through strengthening of national response capacity to complex, man-made and/or natural disasters, by creating access to improved health, nutrition, food security and livelihoods, water, hygiene and sanitation, and protection services.
Our Story
How TAHO began its journey of hope and service
The Angels Humanitarian Foundation was founded with a singular purpose — to bring help, hope, and healing to those most in need. What began as a small community outreach in response to crises has grown into a nationally recognized non-profit organization with operations across several Nigerian states.
TAHO’s growth is driven by compassion and collaboration. Through strong partnerships, field expertise, and a deep understanding of the humanitarian landscape, we continue to provide effective aid to communities facing poverty, displacement, and disaster.
WHO WE ARE?
How TAHO began its journey of hope and service
The Angels Humanitarian Foundation is a national non-governmental and non-profit organization, working in support of national governments in fragile States that are undergoing, or have undergone economic, environmental, social and political instabilities such as in humanitarian conflicts.
It was founded by a group of professional like-minds of multi-disciplinary team having a strong background on disaster risk reduction and management (Preparedness, response and recovery), with skills, knowledge and experiences across the various clusters/sectors of humanitarian actions – Health, Nutrition, Food security and livelihood, Water, hygiene and sanitation, Social protection, among others
Currently, we have a crop of 50 strong team of dedicated professionals, either as team leads or frontline aid workers in the various clusters/sectors. We’re committed to equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion of our team members – providing a supportive environment where all our people can achieve their potential
Being a national NGO with rich experience dealing effectively with emergencies at a local level, we have strong networks within the community and can easily identify the vulnerable groups that need assistance.
